In a display of solidarity, Master P unequivocally expressed his unwavering support for fellow rapper Mystikal amidst a recent indictment on a first-degree rape charge, reports Vibe.

While performing at the Lovers & Friends festival in Las Vegas, Master P graced the stage chanting, “Free Mystikal.” He continued by asking the audience to “Get your hands up for my dawg.”

The 52-year-old rapper, Mystikal born Michael Tyler, was arrested in July 2022 for first-degree rape, false imprisonment, property damage, and drug paraphernalia. He was indicted in September the same year.

The alleged victim accused him of theft, and during the search for the missing money, she found a “crystalline substance” in his dresser. The allegations include him praying with her, using rubbing alcohol to cleanse her, and forcefully raping her on a bed. A police search uncovered Xanax, heroin, marijuana, the woman’s hair, and a broken fingernail at the residence.

Known for his criminal history, has faced multiple charges over the years. In 2004, he received a six-year prison sentence for sexual battery. After his release in 2010, he became a registered sex offender in Louisiana.

In 2012, he went back to jail for domestic abuse battery and violating probation. In August 2017, he was charged with rape and sexual assault at a Shreveport casino, but the charges were later dropped due to insufficient evidence.
