Keke Palmer and Ex Darius Jackson Delay Court for Mediation Talks

December 6, 2023 | By Kali Girl

In a recent court development, Keke Palmer and Darius Jackson have sought a postponement of their impending court date related to domestic violence issues, reports Complex. According to a filing earlier this week, the former couple has expressed a mutual desire to reschedule their court appearance on December 5 to engage in mediation aimed at resolving their ongoing conflicts.

Outlined in the latest court documents, both Palmer and Jackson have concurred to maintain the provisions of their temporary restraining order, emphasizing that it “shall remain in full force and effect.”

The decision comes after Palmer was granted a temporary domestic violence restraining order and temporary sole custody of their nine-month-old child, Leodis “Leo” Andrellton, in November. This legal action followed public revelations of alleged multiple instances of abuse by Jackson throughout their relationship.

In Palmer’s initial legal submission just a month ago, the talented actress asserted that her former partner “trespassed into my home” and “threatened me, then physically attacked me — lunging for my neck, striking me, throwing me over the couch, and stealing my phone when I told him I was going to call the police.”

Since these serious accusations came to light, Jackson has taken to social media to post multiple updates featuring his son, including a Thanksgiving message expressing gratitude for the presence of his child alongside Palmer.
