Keefe D Granted House Arrest With $750K Bail In 2Pac Murder Case

January 10, 2024 | By Kali Girl

In the ongoing 2Pac murder trial, the judge has set a $750,000 cash bail for Keefe D, the accused ex-gang leader, reports Hip Hop DX. The judge ruled that if he can pay the bail, he can serve house arrest, with the condition of wearing an ankle monitor.

Keefe D’s attorneys argued for leniency, citing his ill health and claiming he poses no danger. They hoped for a bail no higher than $100,000 due to his financial situation.

Prosecutors, however, presented reasons for keeping Keefe D in custody, highlighting his past affiliation with the South Side Compton Crips, his multiple confessions to 2Pac’s murder (dismissed as “entertainment purposes” by his lawyers), and credible threats made to witnesses from behind bars.

The overall request is for him to remain in custody until the trial commences.
