Jonathan Majors’ Alleged Admission of Attacking Ex in Texts

December 11, 2023 | By Kali Girl

In a series of text exchanges between Jonathan Majors and his accuser, Grace Jabbari, the Marvel actor seemingly acknowledges engaging in physical violence against his now-former partner, reports PEOPLE.

“I fear you have no perspective of what could happen if you go to the hospital,” Majors, 34, texted Jabbari, 30, in September 2022. “They will ask you questions, and as I don’t think you actually protect us, it could lead to an investigation even if you do lie, and they suspect something.”

This revelation occurred six months prior to Majors’ arrest in March, where he faced charges related to a separate domestic violence case. In one of the messages, Majors cryptically mentioned, “it’s just fake.” However, the court proceedings did not provide clarity on what he referred to as “fake,” and no contextual information was presented during the trial.

The text messages, presented to the jury and recounted by Jabbari during her conclusive testimony on Friday, suggest that she reassured Majors that she wouldn’t hold him accountable for the alleged injury to her head.

Crying as she presented the message in court, Jabbari read aloud, “I will tell the doctor I bumped my head.”

Allowing Assistant D.A. Kelli Galaway to continue, “I will tell the doctor I bumped my head if I go. I’m going to give it one more day, but I can’t sleep and I need some stronger pain killers. That’s all: why would I tell them what really happened when it’s clear I want to be with you?”

Majors is confronted with multiple charges, including assault in the third degree with the intent to cause physical injury, assault in the third degree recklessly causing physical injury, aggravated harassment in the second degree, and harassment in the second degree.
