Ice Cube Unveils Plan to Uncover Big3’s ‘Gatekeepers’

Ice Cube is determined to expose the individuals obstructing his progress in expanding his BIG3 basketball league, reports Hip Hop DX.

In a series of tweets on Sunday, Cube addressed the challenges he faces in his highly successful sports venture. He explained that his exclusion from the exclusive “club of gatekeepers” hampers his mobility in the sports industry.

Cube further revealed that since introducing the “Contract With Black America” and launching BIG3 in 2017, he has encountered resistance and indifference from both the NBA and major television networks.

To combat this predicament, Ice Cube announced his intention to embark on a podcast tour titled “F*ck the Gatekeepers.” Through this endeavor, he aims to expose those individuals who are diligently working to impede his momentum.

“I’ma go talk to everybody,” the former N.W.A. rapper said. “Everybody. And get a chance to get my message out to the people. Be able to let people hear from me. And, you might agree, you might not. But, the important thing is, for me to go on these platforms and say what I feel about what I think.”

He added: “Some people may get pissed off. ‘Cause I’m going to talk to everybody. I’m not playing. It’s gone be a crazy summer. It’s gone be fun.”

Ice Cube defends BIG3 against critics while garnering widespread support from NBA veterans and other influential figures. Recently, 50 Cent congratulated Ice Cube on achieving a significant milestone for the league.

As the BIG3 gears up for its sixth season, it proudly holds the distinction of being the first Black-owned major sports league in the United States, a testament to Ice Cube’s vision.
