HEAVYWEIGHT George Foreman BIOPIC IN THEATERS ON APRIL 28

According to ET Online, actor Khris Davis known for his performance in “Judas and the Black Messiah,” is set to play the role of the legendary boxer, George Foreman, in the upcoming biopic, Big George Foreman: The Miraculous Story of the Once and Future Heavyweight Champion of the World. 

Directed by George Tillman Jr., the film will showcase Foreman’s journey to fame, from a difficult childhood in the impoverished Fifth Ward of Houston, to his initial achievements at the 1968 Olympics, to his stunning victory over Joe Frazier, when he secured his first heavyweight championship title in 1973.

The film also explores Foreman’s transition beyond the boxing ring, including the awakening that inspired him to spread the gospel. Followed by his unexpected return to the ring at the age of 46.

Big George Foreman: The Miraculous Story of the Once and Future Heavyweight Champion of the World is in theaters April 28.
