According TMZ, Bay Area rapper E-40 was escorted out of the Kings-Warriors game over the weekend after a heated altercation with a fan that escalated into a confrontation with security personnel.

No secret to being a Dubs enthusiast, 40 was sitting courtside at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento on Saturday night for Game 1 of the series when the incident occurred during the fourth quarter.

According to reports, E-40 engaged in a verbal exchange with a Kings fan seated behind him, which led to a back-and-forth between the two.

Security had to intervene due to complaints claiming 40 was repeatedly standing and blocking their views. He was warned by security to remain seated. Despite the warnings, the situation ultimately escalated.

E-40 was eventually escorted out of the premises while he continued to engage in heated exchanges with security and fans.

In a statement issued to Shams Charania, E-40 stated, a white woman had been allegedly harassing him throughout the game, leading him to finally confront her directly. However, instead of addressing the woman’s behavior, security personnel intervened only to reprimand him.

An excerpt from his statement reads, “Unfortunately, it was yet another reminder that despite my success and accolades as a musician and entrepreneur racial bias remains prevalent. Security saw a disagreement between a black man and a white woman and immediately assumed that I was at fault.”

“I have attended countless NBA games throughout my lifetime and have always prided myself in my professionalism, so this experience has been jarring. I was absolutely humiliated by the King’s security team and I’m calling on the franchise to investigate the appalling conduct that transpired.”
