Buccaneers’ Russell Gage Hospitalized After Scary Hit

January 17, 2023 | Kali Girl

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Russell Gage was removed from Monday night’s playoff game on a backboard, causing concern following a recent on-field medical emergency. Gage went down during the fourth quarter of the team’s loss to the Dallas Cowboys, and received medical attention on the field for several minutes. The hit was to the head and neck area, reports TMZ.

Gage was taken off the field on a stretcher after a hit during Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Head coach Todd Bowles later confirmed that Gage had suffered a concussion and was being evaluated for potential neck injuries, and was not sure if Gage had movement in all of his extremities. The entire Falcons organization and fans are hoping for a speedy recovery for Gage and we wish him all the best.
